Here you can see tonight's assignments, your parents can see what we are doing, and much more!

THANK YOU to all the parents that were able to visit us during Curriculum Night.  Remember to email me at deyoungp@fultonschools.org if you have any questions.

We have learned:  The greetings, the numbers (0-100), the ordinal numbers, the alphabet, the school subjects, the calendar, the weather, the school and backpack objects, the shapes and the colors, the prepositional phrases
We can ask in Spanish if we can go to the restroom, the media center, the clinic or the office
We have also completed writting and reading the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth chapter of our book, our end of the year project. We know the Pledge of Allegiance in Spanish. We can sing "La cucaracha, and "La bamba" and we learned an awsome weather song in Spanish named "It looks like is going to rain."
We have also talked about birthdays and have learned 2 birthday songs!
After our holiday brake, we completed our unit about the 21 countries that speak Spanish.  We learned their names, the names of their capitals and their locations in the map. We are now also able to make sentences with many AR verbs and we understand how to conjugate ER and IR verbs. We know the parts of the body and worked in a project named "Mi monstruo."  We learned names of clothing items and the family members all in Spanish. We can tell the time and order a meal at a restaurant.  Soon, we'll learn about the house and be able to write our 6th and last chapter of our end of the year project :)
